Our Ocean Table is a three-part docuseries hosted by marine biologist-turned-filmmaker Sonya Lee and journalist Hannah Sung as they explore how iconic Korean seafood dishes — from spot prawn soondubu to seaweed soup — connect culture, identity, and ocean conservation. Traveling across western Canada, they meet sustainable harvesters, scientists, and chefs uncovering the deep links between what we eat and ocean health.

Once a competitive hockey player, host Reddy grew up to be one of the first South Asian women to make it in the world of wine and fine dining in Canada. Now grappling with her mother’s battle with dementia, Reddy is on a journey to piece together the story of her Indian heritage through food and community.
